Which Linux would you reccomend for netbook users?

I’ve just bought a netbook (1.66GHz 1GB Ram) with Windows 7 Starter edition, and I’m thinking of installing linux on it. I’m currently thinking about Ubuntu or Mint, what would your reccomendations be and what are the pro’s ands con’s? Also is there anyway of getting iTunes on Linux?

Indeed Ubuntu is to be avoided as it lacks most proprietary drivers that you may need on a netbook. Itunes can be replaced in linux by ATUNES. You may wish to give a try to the LXDE interface as it is designed for netbooks and is incredibly light speeding up the computer.
